The molecular surface of saccharin shows the isocontour lines of the electrostatic potential using 2D texture mapping. The surface is clipped according to the lipophilicity potential, showing the clipped surface parts as blue chicken wire representation. A variety of physicochemical properties can be calculated and displayed on the surface: electrostatic potential, lipophilic potential, hydrogen bonding sites, local curvature, flexibility, cavity depth, distance, etc.
